Why we exist.
LoginID was founded in 2019 by payments and security veterans who had seen first-hand how passwords quietly fail at scale: phished, reused, and breached. The team set out to make strong, phishing-resistant authentication something any developer could ship in minutes, not quarters.
That became a FIDO2-certified, passkey-centric platform: end-to-end passwordless login and digitally-signed transaction authorization, delivered through a single API with minimal backend changes. It's trusted in payments, banking, and fintech, and built on the open FIDO standards we help advance as a member of the FIDO Alliance.
AI agents are the next inflection. They now browse, decide, and buy on people's behalf, but the web has no native way to know who's really behind them.
